WhereWeDrink is a free drinking water quality research tool. We pull data directly from EPA’s Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) and present it clearly so anyone can check their utility’s violation history.

What we show

Open violations, health-based flags, major violations, population served, water source type, system type, and school/daycare designations — for every active public water system in the U.S.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t require accounts or registration.
  • We don’t store your searches.
  • We don’t run ads or sell data.
